Kestrel 5500

The Kestrel 5500 weather meter is a handheld mini-weather station. Purchased with Bluetooth LiNK, the Kestrel 5500 integrates with WeatherCitizen with no configuration necessary.

WeatherCitizen is able to record the following environmental parameters from a conneced Kestrel 5500:

  • Wind Direction
  • Wind Speed
  • Altitude
  • Barometric Pressure
  • Wet Bulb Temperature
  • Relative Humidity
  • Heat Stress Index
  • Dewpoint
  • Density Altitude

The Kestrel Drop family of products are small, rugged environmental data loggers. All Kestrel Drop products are Bluetooth enabled and work out of the box with WeatherCitizen.
